Hello, my love, today there is much rain;
Which means soon I will feel seasonal pain.
The weather for some reason can effect
my mood, my feelings and my dialect;
Perhaps it’s the fact that the sun is gone
and the gray gloom seems to go on and on.
Perhaps it’s the fact that I get all wet
That makes happiness easy to forget;
Perhaps it’s the fact that chilling cold
rapidly becomes tiresome and old;
Perhaps I’d rather stay home and cuddle
instead of stepping in some huge puddle;
For whatever the reason I have changed,
please don’t think I’m crazy or deranged.
Tis merely a momentary change, Love,
that shall pass when blue skies return above.
