Twenty-fifth birthday;
“Has it been that long?”
You see the presents,
you hear that ole song.
I take the day off,
so we can enjoy
some time together
on this day of joy.
I get you some gifts,
some good and some bad;
I try to make this
the best day you’ve had.
I am not sure if
I fail or succeed;
Either way it was
a fun day indeed.
