I wonder at times
why friendships have changed?
Why every few years
some get rearranged?
Longstanding friendships
with no end in sight,
somehow just vanish
and end overnight.
New friendships emerge
from all that remains
and those that survive
go through growing pains.
Friendships are diff’rent
and the love is too,
but memories can
help people get through.
