I wanted to say
“Thank you” for last night,
when you calmed my fears
and made me feel right.
I know if we’re blessed
with having children,
we will help them be
great men and women.
With the proper care
and good example,
our love for them will
be more than ample.
We will talk some more
about things we’ll do,
before there’s a child
growing within you.
