Though nachos are fun,
they have had their run
of being much feared
before being revered.
In times long ago,
not too many know,
many the had skills
for the nacho kills.
Assassins would use
(and some say abuse)
the lure of the treat,
that’s yummy to eat.
The then poisened cheese
brought kings to their knees.
Jalapeno death
took many’s last breath.
It took many years
to overcome fears.
Now we have a dare,
a holiday scare:
Match every dip
with a pepper chip.
