Our house fin’ly sold.
It feels like it did.
We chose an offer,
accepted a bid.
Hopefully, the deal
will close rather quick
and the buyer won’t,
too badly, nitpick.
The burden will be
lifted off of us.
There will be no house,
no more mess or fuss.
After it is done,
we can start to save
for a brand new house
which we will then crave.
