With the new baby
visiting Sunday,
it helped me see Teeje
in a whole new way.
Oh my, he has grown
from being tiny
to something bigger
and lots more whiney.
It’s not that he’s rude
or being a fuss;
That’s simply his way
of talking to us.
He thinks he’s older
than he really is
and that he’s some kind
of brainiac whiz.
As he gets older,
I’m sure we will see
the true genius
he’s trying to be.
