Even though, my love,
I just left today,
I miss you so much
in a husband’s way.
While business is fun
and keeps me busy,
at night, my poor heart,
gets in a tizzy.
I rest easy though
knowing you’re just fine
cuddled between those
two babies of mine.
In less than a week,
I will be back home
and there’ll be no need
to write a sad poem.
