It amazes me
how fast our boys grow.
They cannot stay young
for long, yeah, I know.
But I am surprised
by how much per day
their intelligence
grows in some new way.
They’ll spout from their mouth
a new word or fact;
We’ll share a look of
“Did you teach them that?”
The scary thing is,
they’re now old enough
for them to think up
their own unique stuff.
