Today was our first
Sunday in the ward.
New place, new faces,
same love of the Lord.
It’s amazing how
the Big Man upstairs,
through other people,
can show you He cares.
A simple smile
can feel awfully warm,
even in the midst
of a winter storm.
While I miss old friends,
I do like it here
and feel I can stay
here many a year.
